Snow stops everything
The plan was that I would go visit Smriti for a long weekend in Germany (Muenster) where she was to work with her boss.
So on thursday evening i watch some tv and i run in to the weather for the next couple of days. And they say SNOW lots of SNOW. The next morning (Friday) i look out of the window and yes there it is the SNOW, it comes down like crazy.
Of course i always see the sun on the end of the snow. I clean the walk ways but that doesn't do much because it still snows. And then i decide to take an train an hour earlier (normally that would bring me 3 hours before the plane would leaf to the airport). So i get on my train and the funny part is that this train was late all week but today it is on time. The trip go's perfect no problems TILL 100 meters before Malmo station it stops...... and there we stand for 30 minutes because of some track problems because of the snow.
But finally we get to Malmo where i would take my connecting train to the airport.
There is a little more train problems by then and we are send from platform to platform and then finally they find us a train that will go to the airport.
But also this train can't leaf the station because of track problems. But lucky me it's not only my problem. No train leafs the station or even comes in.
But finally after an extra hour in Malmo the train leafs and i get to Copenhagen airport in time for my flight. this trip normally takes less then an hour but this time it took more then 2.5hours.
On the board at the airport are lots of cancelled flights but lucky me mine is on time.
But yeah that's what i think. In the plane we can look outside because of the ice. So they need to remove this and then we are of. I get in Amsterdam on time to make my connecting flights.
And make it to Muenster in time. We had a great weekend and Muenster is nice to go visit.
I will tell a bit more about Munster in another post soon......
